My Approach

Flexible, compassionate, and shaped around your needs.

My approach is:

Integrative – I draw on different techniques, such as talking, creative activities, and gentle awareness of physical responses, to find what works best for you.

Relational – I prioritise a trusting and supportive relationship, because feeling safe and understood is essential for meaningful change.

Trauma-informed – I focus on safety and understanding how past experiences may affect your emotions, thoughts, and relationships, helping you feel supported while exploring difficult experiences.

Every session is tailored to your goals and paced to suit you. This flexible, collaborative approach helps you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make real changes in your life.

Specialist Support

Understanding your journey, whatever your experience.

I work with many of the challenges people face in everyday life, such as anxiety, stress, depression, grief, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, and life transitions like career changes or divorce. With over 30 years’ experience, I help clients gain clarity, feel more in control, and build practical strategies for coping, so even everyday struggles can be managed with confidence and ease.

In addition, I have specialist expertise in supporting people affected by trauma, abuse, and dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Drawing on both professional training and lived experience, I provide practical guidance, reassurance, and hope.

I help DID clients:

Develop communication between parts.

Process complex experiences with support and understanding.

Explore integration safely and at their own pace.

Everyone’s journey is unique, and my role is to provide a steady, compassionate presence while we navigate it.

How We Work Together

Compassionate, practical support to help you feel seen, safe, and empowered.

I work with you to explore challenges, understand emotions, and develop confidence in managing life’s complexities. Sessions can be:

Long-term or short-term.

Online or face-to-face.

Outdoor “walk and talk” sessions.

Every session focuses on your goals, creating a supportive environment for self-discovery, emotional healing, and lasting change.

Comfort, calm, and reassurance from the moment you enter.

My therapy room provides a peaceful, private environment, with warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s more than a room — it’s a safe space to reflect, explore, and heal, where your journey is always respected.

If you choose online therapy, I create the same sense of safety and confidentiality through secure video sessions. You can feel comfortable, supported, and fully present, whether connecting from home or another private space of your choice.
