Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions and that’s completely normal. Here are some answers to help you feel more at ease before we begin. If there’s anything else you’d like to know, please get in touch using the form below.

What kind of counselling do you offer?

I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach, meaning sessions are tailored to your unique needs. Together we focus on creating safety, building trust, and exploring your experiences at your pace — through thoughts, emotions, or gentle body awareness.

Yes. Counselling can support you if you’re feeling anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want to understand yourself better. It’s a space to explore life’s challenges, relationships, trauma, or personal growth, with guidance that’s compassionate, practical, and focused on what matters most to you.

Can therapy help me?

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. Everything you share is treated with care and respect. I follow BACP ethical guidelines, GDPR, and ICO registration. The only time I may need to share information is if there is a serious risk of harm to you or, someone else, but I’ll always aim to discuss that with you first.

I work with young people aged 13+ and adults. Sessions are adapted to your needs and comfort level.
